Founder and CEO Laurie Chapman
Laurie Chapman, SHRM-SCP, is the CEO of Bellatrix-HRM and brings over 25 years of experience in government contracting. Her expertise spans Business Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Medical Administrative Services. Laurie leads with a focus on respect, innovation, training, and clear communication—principles that empower her team and drive client success.
Throughout her career, she has enhanced hiring, training, and performance management processes to support growth and improve bottom lines. Laurie previously served as VP of Operations for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Director of Government Services at a major PEO, and CEO of a small government contracting firm. She also founded a successful staffing company serving 300+ clients nationwide.
A Huntsville, AL native, Laurie has worked with organizations such as AMRDEC, NASA, and MDA to attract top talent to the Redstone Arsenal community. She holds a Business Administration degree and FCME certification from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
With deep ties to the military, Laurie is committed to supporting service members and advancing her clients’ missions.
