Laurie Chapman, SHRM SCP has over 25 years of experience in the government contracting community. As the Chief Executive Officer for Bellatrix, Laurie brings her experience in Business Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resource, and Medical Administrative Services to create solutions for Bellatrix clients. Laurie leads the organization with a firm belief that if the team has the respect, training, promotes innovation and clear communication they can do anything. She optimized previous client's people-centered activities such as hiring, training, professional development, and performance management to ensure these efforts supports the company’s growth and bottom line. Laurie previously served as Vice President of Operations for an SDVOSB, Director of Government services of a large PEO, CEO for a small government contracting/teaming company and has owned a successful staffing firm with more than 300 clients nationally. As a Huntsville, AL native, Laurie has worked with AMRDEC, NASA and MDA to help bring qualified talent and companies to the ever-growing government contracting community at Redstone Arsenal. She has worked with, and continues to work with, multiple state and federal agencies nationally. Laurie has a degree in Business Administration and her FCME from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. With many military members in her immediate and extended family, Laurie is dedicated to serving our men and women in uniform and ensuring the success of her clients. Bellatrix is able to help clients reduce G&A and overhead, while increasing their productivity and profitability, by staying up to date on compliance regulations and monitoring areas like SCA guidelines, benefit solutions, and operations management.
