Founder and CEO
Laurie Chapman, SHRM SCP, has over 25 years of experience in the government contracting sector. As the Chief Executive Officer of Bellatrix, Laurie leverages her expertise in Business Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Medical Administrative Services to create effective solutions for clients. She leads the organization with a firm belief that fostering respect, providing training, promoting innovation, and ensuring clear communication empower her team to achieve anything. Laurie has optimized various people-centered activities for previous clients, including hiring, training, professional development, and performance management, all aimed at supporting company growth and enhancing the bottom line. Before her current role, she served as Vice President of Operations for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Director of Government Services at a large Professional Employer Organization (PEO), and CEO of a small government contracting and teaming company. Additionally, she owned a successful staffing firm with over 300 clients nationwide. A native of Huntsville, AL, Laurie has collaborated with organizations such as AMRDEC, NASA, and MDA to attract qualified talent and businesses to the thriving government contracting community at Redstone Arsenal. She continues to partner with various state and federal agencies across the country. Laurie holds a degree in Business Administration and an FCME from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and she is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). With many military members in her immediate and extended family, Laurie is dedicated to serving our men and women in uniform while ensuring her clients' success. Bellatrix helps clients reduce general and administrative costs and overhead while increasing productivity and profitability by staying current on compliance regulations and monitoring areas such as Service Contract Act (SCA) guidelines, benefit solutions, and operations management.
