We're looking for a Systems Architect with deep expertise in NextGen EHR systems and healthcare interoperability standards. This role will support a critical government healthcare IT initiative, ensuring efficient, compliant, and optimized digital workflows.

Eligibility & Work Authorization

Must be authorized to work on a W2 Accepted: EAD, OPT-EAD, H4-EAD, Green Cards, or U.S. Citizen Not Accepted: H1B, C2C, or third-party vendors

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and configure NextGen EHR, PM, and EDR systems

- Customize workflows using Next Gen Template Editor

- Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure data handling

- Enable system integration via HL7, CCD, FHIR, and HIE technologies

- Support clinical documentation and billing via ICD-9/ICD-10 standards

- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and operations teams to ensure smooth implementations

Required Experience

- 10+ years in healthcare IT with EHR systems

- 5+ years with NextGen platforms

- NextGen Certified - configuration & optimization expertise

- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, ICD coding, and HL7/FHIR

- Proven track record of delivering complex healthcare IT projects

Preferred Skills

- SQL, HL7 Messaging, Crystal Reports

- Experience with eMAR, Mirth Connect, PACS, CIPS/Fusion, or Merge platforms

- Strong project management skills and healthcare workflow knowledge

Compensation

- $50/hour (W2 only)

- Full-time contract role

- No C2C or benefits unless specified
